Sweet wishes by Lawn Fawn (The Rubber Buggy)

Hi everyone!

I'm here with another DT-project for The Rubber Buggy.
Please, check out the store which is now filled with lots of goodies for the summer. Kellie has been stocking up on lots of new awesomeness from Blue Fern Studios lately :)

Anyhow, back to my card...
I used the same stamp set for this card, that's unusual for me as I love to mix and match amongst the Lawn Fawn love :)

The stamped images are colored with copic markers and then fuzzy cut as I didn't want the white border that shows on the die cut. I die cut circles from the Magnolia paper to act as kitchen tiles and the kitchen counter is just watercolor paper colored with distress ink.

The background is stamped repeatedly with the little hearts that are included in the stamp set.

I toped the card with a satin ribbon from my stash. It was actually bright blue from the beginning, but I changed the tone using a dark brown spray. You can also make your own ribbon using supplies from the store, such as satin string and dylusion spray.

Products used on this card:
Lawn Fawn stamp set Milk & cookies
Copic markers
Distress ink Vintage photo
Memory Box Open studio dies stitched circle layers
Magnolia paper apple & cherries 50's collection 50's kitchen'
Stamping supplies (neenah cardstock kraft, doublesided tape, scissors, archival ink coffee, watercolor paper)

By the sea card for The Rubber Buggy

Hi everyone!

I'm here with another card for The Rubber Buggy.

I had a blast with this card, using lots of different techniques. I used distress ink on watercolor paper for my background and then I dropped some water randomly to create the look of pools behind my stamped image.

I stamped my Pearl Tilda on super smooth Neenah cardstock, my go to paper for copic coloring and carefully fuzzy cut her to place on my background. In order to get all the details from the stamp with the bubbles I also stamped her on to the background. Saving me some time with the scissors. I also stamped some beautiful seashells on watercolor paper and used distress ink and water to color them.

I then gave them a bit of shimmer with my wink of stella and that really made the image pop. I  believe that the distress ink somewhat reacted with the stella marker. But I can't say that for sure.

Products used from the store:

Faux lasercut background card

Hi everyone!

I'm here with my DT-project for The Rubber Buggy.

I've made the faux lasercut style before, but this time I used the technique as a background. And I really think it took a simple card to a new level.
I've heat embossed the sentiment and die cut the stitched circles from memory box.

Namaste with The Rubber Buggy

Hi everyone!

I'm here with another card for The Rubber Buggy and I hope you like it :)

I mixed a lot of products and brands for this one. How silly of my that's something to overcome - LOL!

I love the YOGA MAMAS stamp! I colored her with my copic markers. For here hair I used E51, E55, E57 and for her clothes I used BG45 & BG49 and I'm loving this combo. All the layers of paper are leftover scraps and they go so well together. The little birds are chipboard pieces from the same collection by G45 - don't you love it when someone else is doing all the hard work for you.

The sentiments of the card is made with 2 set of stamps. "Namaste" is made with Milo's ABC. A great stamp set and so easy to use. The rest of the sentiment is from the awesome Handlettered thanks stamp set from Wplus9 design studio. So loving the versatility of that one and the fact that they both are clear stamps really helps getting a perfect position.

The piece that I stamped the sentiment on had the word "baby" showing, so I covered it with a strip of washi tape. But it works...

Hello you (Lawn Fawn)

Hi everyone!

I'm here with this week's design team project for The Rubber Buggy :)

I had a blast making this card. It may be old news for most of you, but I just recently found out this cool way to use your dies as stamps and make the most awesome embossing.

Here I used MFT decorative doily and Lawn Fawn Freshly cut grass. I'm sorry that the photo wont pick up the cool one layer dimension you get.

I used the scripty sentiments from Lawn Fawn and the same ink as for the doily. Then I topped it with some coffee cups from Love you a latte set - my favorite stamp set!
I just couldn't help myself but to make a background using the coffee bean stamp too.
