Happy new year everyone!
I'm here with the first project for The Rubber Buggy for 2016 :)
A decorated pillowbox.
This was a late Christmas gift, but I thought I'd show it to you anyway, since it came out so cute - LOL!
And since it is redish pinkish, you could make it for Valentine. Just switch the snowflakes for hearts.
There is a pillow box die from Lawn Fawn in the store and I must admit, I've been eyeing it for a while now. There was also a punch board from WRMK, if you happend to get it before they ran out.
My point is, there are a lot of choices out on the market. But if you're like me, everytime I put it in my basket I end up switching it for something else, not yet quite ready for the investment.
But this occasion seemed to scream for a pillowbox, but I was lucky to find a great tutorial on how to make one without a die or a punchboard. You can see it HERE.
However, it took a couple of tries, but I eventually got it just right.
A couple of tips on the way, when you assemble the box, the width will become more narrow due to the depth. I didn't think of that in the beginning, but maybe I'm just not the sharpest :)
Also, the radious of whatever circle shape you're using not only decides the depth of the box, but also effects the length, so don't forget to check it twice.
It would absolutely be easier to just invest in a die.
Products used from The Rubber Buggy store:
Lawn Fawn petite paper pack, let's bokeh in the snow

My favorite things die-namics Let it snowflakes
Ice stickles Silver ice

Magnolia o'hoy for The Rubber Buggy
Hi everyone!
Out of pure luck, I stumbled across this super cute stamp in my stash. I love, love this stamp, but I had forgotten I had it. I've been fortunate engough to have been on Kellie's design team for so long things are now getting lost in my DT stash - LOL!
I've used Maja Design paper pad skärgårdsliv, a paper pad inspired by coastal scenes outside of Gothenburg. To match the paper I used copic markers (B93, B95, B97 and W3 & W5) to color my image. I was out of matching cardstock, but I have a distress paint in chipped saphire that I colored some white cardstock and voila! I used that cardstock to mat both of my design paper and I also die cut some flourishes. I used a spellbinders label from my stash to die cut my image in an oval, but there are lots of oval dies in the shop
Products used from the store:
Magnolia rubber stamp Dangling Tilda
Copic markers
Distress paint chipped saphire
Maja Design paper pad Skärgårdsliv
MFT die-namic fancy flourish
WOC carnation
Ice stickles orange peel
WOC hip rosebuds
Petaloo textured blossom moccha
Stamping supplies (doublesided tape, memento tuxedo ink, neenah white cardstock)
Thank you for visiting!

By the sea card for The Rubber Buggy
Hi everyone!
I'm here with another card for The Rubber Buggy.
I had a blast with this card, using lots of different techniques. I used distress ink on watercolor paper for my background and then I dropped some water randomly to create the look of pools behind my stamped image.
I stamped my Pearl Tilda on super smooth Neenah cardstock, my go to paper for copic coloring and carefully fuzzy cut her to place on my background. In order to get all the details from the stamp with the bubbles I also stamped her on to the background. Saving me some time with the scissors. I also stamped some beautiful seashells on watercolor paper and used distress ink and water to color them.
I then gave them a bit of shimmer with my wink of stella and that really made the image pop. I believe that the distress ink somewhat reacted with the stella marker. But I can't say that for sure.
Products used from the store:
Magnolia Rubber Stamp PEARL TILDA
G45 Cling Stamp set By the Sea #1 (no longer availiable in the store)
Spellbinders nestabilities foliage (no longer availiable in the store)
Copic markers
Distress ink evergreen bough
Distress ink iced spruce
wink of stella clear pen
Stamping supplies (watercolor paper, water color brush, doublesided tape, bonefolder, scissors)
Thank you for visiting!
Challenges entered:
Midweek Magnolias - #116 Anything goes
Totally Tilda's last challenge - Anything goes

Magnolia Christmas
Hi everyone!
So we made it through December and 2014 :)
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas time.
Christmas Tilda with cat is the first stamp I recieved as a DT-member for The Rubber Buggy and I'm still loving it. I colored it monochromatic with the cool gray series from Copic and then continued the frosty look with the icey blue from Magnolia. One of my favorite colors for Christmas actually. I backed it with Graphic 45 paper and really love the tone it set for the card. This is my fav of the year I believe.
I'm really looking forward what 2015 brings. Did you notice Kellie has updated the webshop? Besides bringing the latest of Lawn Fawn, she's also bringing a new brand Wplus9 design studio - super cute and versitile stamps. There are also new poppy stamps dies - a division of Memory box, equally detailed and great quality. But the greatest change may be that she has introduced a reward system where you can earn chips which you can trade for discounts. How great is that? Create an account and become a member now :)
Products used on the card:
Magnolia Rubber stamp Tilda Christmas with cat
Copic markers (CG-series)
12x12 Magnolia paper Snowy wood
6x6 Graphic 45 paper pad solids and patterns, Twelve days of Christmas
WOC pionsettias
Stamping supplies (bonefolder, memento ink, doublesided tape)
Thank you for visiting and happy new year!!!
See you all in 2015 :)

The Rubber Buggy is bringing Lawn Fawn to the table
Hi everyone!
Great news :D
Kellie is bringing in Lawn Fawn to The Rubber Buggy store - YAY!!!
I can't tell you how excited I am!!
So in honor of the new brand I used a stamp & die set from my stash -season's tweetings winter sparrows.
I'm very happy with the way it turned out, mixed with products from the store such as Graphic 45 and Magnolia.
I've sprayed the WOC poinsettia with LSG glory of the sea gold and removed and the green leaves. I also changed the middle part for a flat crystal. Since I was in a hurry (my craft time is somewhat limited nowadays) the die cut leaf is painted with a wink of stella pen (clear), but you can also use the prima shimmer spray or perfect pearl from the store...
Products used on the card:
Lawn fawnseasons' tweetings winter sparrows stamp & die set
Magnolia doohickey tag (similar)
Copic markers
WOC poinsettias
Spellbinder's shapabilities foliage
WRS circle greetings
G45 papers, various collections (Eeirees tale, place in time)
Bakers twine, orange
I hope you liked it.
Don't forget to check out the store for the new Lawn Fawn products.
Thank you for visiting!
I entered this card in Lawnscaping's fall challenge.

Baby tags
I'm here with a really quick project for The Rubber Buggy.
Mid-september I became a mother to a precious baby boy and since then time has just flown away.
So be on the look out for baby layouts, project life - baby's first year and more baby projects :D
However, today I'd like to show you a 5-minute project, which was litterly all the time I got for this.
Besides baby annuncemen, I've taken a few (hundreds) photos of my new treasure and I'm giving a few of them away to close family. But being me and not having created anything for a period of time I took this opportunity to at least make a couple of tags.
Being a bit ambitious, I soon discovered that someone demanding attention was not planning to give me as much time as needed - even though I thought I was planning it tight :D
Needless to say, my tags became a bit more simple than firstly planned, but in the end I'm very pleased with the result anyway. The paper from G45 makes the tags look anything but boring and the die cut wording makes them pop a bit. I didn't even have time to die cut the reinforcer for the tag. As G45 paper is double sided it would have been super easy to match, just turn the paper over. I was also planning to put some flatback bling on the tags...
I'm mainly bummed about forgetting the twine to string the twine with though... But a glue dot will have to do now.
Products used from the store:
G45 12x12 French country PROVENCE
Magnolia Doohickey cutting dies tag (similar)
Memory box die BABY SCRIPT (similar)
Blue chalk (coming soon)
Items that didn't make it...
Flat back crystals
Crochet lace, light blue
MFT die-namics fancy flourish
WOC 10mm open roses
WOC hip rosebuds
Thank you for visiting!
Hopefully I'll make it in time for my next post - but I feel it would be wise not to make any promises for now =D

Magnolia 3D-card
Hi everyone!
I have a new card for you at The Rubber Buggy. If you're a follower you'll notice I'm back with another 3D-box card using Magnolia stamps again. Well, what can I say - they're a hoot to make and they come together super easy and fastare than you might think.
Besides the colouring and fuzzy cutting the images, which you might do even if you're just layering them on a "flat" card. The box itself is nothing.
I decieded that I wanted to make my box 2,5" x 2,5" (don't forget to add some extra for the flap that will overlap as closure) and 3" high.
Therefore I started with a paper sized to 10,5" x 5,5". (4x2,5"+0,5") x (3"+2,5") - does that makes sense? If not let me know and I'll try to explain it better for you. There is also a lot of tutorials on youtube, I've just adjusted the measurements...
Then I scored the paper at 2,5"; 5"; 7,5" and 10" across the longer side.
Left one of those "spaces" untouched (That will be the back of your box, I just find that it made it sturdier. You can score it if you'd like to) and scored the remaining 3 at 2,5" across the shorter side.
I cut the scoremarks on the 2,5" - that will create the flaps of the box.
After that it's pretty much just to assemble the box. To create something to hold your cut images and die cuts to just place a "bar" on the top of the box opening and attach it from inside to inside. How many you want depends on how many layeres you want. Good luck! Let me know if you'd like more help :)
Products used from the store:

Magnolia rubber stamp EDWIN WANTS A HUG
Magnolia rubber stamp LITTLE SUMMER BIRDS

The Rubber Buggy challenge - Bloom & Butterflies
Hi everyone!
I'm sorry for this late post.
We're having a new exciting challenge at The Rubber Buggy for you!
This month it's butterflies and blooms :)
Here is my card and it hold a lot of fun products from The Rubber Buggy's store.
I didn't plan to make it as nautical themed from the beginning, but I just adore the colour from the Magnolia paper and the stamp from Prima seashore was perfect to combine with it. I had a blast colouring the image with Tim Holtz distress ink and the rest just followed.
The image is die cut and embossed with Spellbinders nestabilites label one. The top layer is made using Rangers' water color cardstock. I used the clear stamp from Prima seashore collection and stamped with archival inkm, which is water resistant. Then I used the distress ink to watercolor the scene.
The sprouts on the butterfly is just a cut off stamen from one of the WOC flowers.
Products used from the store:
12x12 Magnolia paper sea breeze mythical ocean
Spellbinders nestabilities label one
Prima clear stamp sea shore #1
Wild rose studio clear stamp circle greetings
Magnolia rubber stamp sea banner
WOC large wild roses
WOC tulips
WOC open rose 15mm
Tim Holtz movers and shapers mini butterfly set die
Distress ink iced spruce
Distress ink evergreen bough
Ranger watercolor cardstock
Stamping supplies (smooth cardstock, archival ink, embossing powder, tape, watercolor pen, hot glue)
Thanks for visiting!

Altered gift bag and tag for The Rubber buggy
Hi everyone!
I'm here with another project for The Rubber Buggy.
I've altered a paper bag. I dry embossed it and hid the "ugly" crese with some lace and pearl ribbon. Super easy! I will never stop doing this :)
The tag was also fun to make, but a bit more time consuming. Once I started I just kept going :) The bird is embossed with tingsel gold - love the glimmer!
The chipboard and flowers are coloured with glimmer sprays. I've used LSG, but you can easy find your own favorite amongst those gorgeous Prima color Blooms.
I've also added charms from my stash to the tag, but there is a wide selection in the store as well.
Products used from the store:
Tim Holtz alterations die CAGED BIRD
Magnolia rubber stamp DANCING QUEEN TILDA
Magnolia rubber stamp SEA BANNER
Copic markers
WRS CIRCLE GREETINGS
WOC 20mm open rose
WOC tulips
Bakers twine SEAFOAM
May arts ribbon SHEER BOXPLEAT
Stamping supplies (smooth cardstock, embossing powder, hot glue, scissor i e)

Easy breezy gift box for the Rubber Buggy
Hi everyone!
I'm here with another project for The Rubber Buggy.
You can use the WRMK gift box punch board, if you'd like it really quick and effortless. But I used my good old scor pal. I should admitt though - I had to redo both the box and the lid, twice...
The flowers are of course coloured with glimmer sprays. I've used LSG, but Kellie has finally received a new lot of gorgeous Prima color Blooms.

Products used from the store:
12x12 Magnolia sea breeze paper MYTHICAL OCEAN
Magnolia rubber stamp SEA BANNER
Prima collection clear stamp 1 SEASHORE
WOC 15mm open rose
WOC tulips
WOC cosmo daisy
Stamping supplies (adhesive, scissor i e)
I'm also entering this box in Gloria Stengel's challenge blog - Craft Hoarders Anonymous fold it challenge.

Siluette Tilda for The Rubber Buggy
Hi everyone!
I recently saw the most amazing cards being done with distress background and just the siluette image of flowers, trees and dragonflies. As you can see I was somewhat inspired :)
However, I don't have any good stamps for that kind of card. Most of mine are for colouring and detailing. But I figured what if I coloured it black...
What do you think of the result? Mine is nowhere close to the atmosphere I was going for, but with some stickles, it turned a lot better and I just think I need more practise - LOL!
Next time I will go for more darker distressing too, but as I have already put the stickles to this one I don't think it will work as good as if I had a smooth surface to work on...
Well, maybe next time :)
But please let me know what you think!
Products from the store:
Smooth paper
Magnolia rubber stamp DANCING QUEEN TILDA
Magnolia rubber stamp STONE PATH
Kaisercraft SHEET MUSIC
Copic marker B100
Distress ink TUMBLED GLASS
Distress ink BUNDLED SAGE
Distress ink PEELED PAINT
Stickles gold
Stickles mint
Thanks for visiting!!

Sweet Magnolia card
Hi everyone!
Here is my Tuesday project for The Rubber Buggy:)
This card is really not so tricky as it looks. But it's all in the details...
A lot is made with the frame around the image which is die cut with a spellbinder die and the flowers are coloured with copic marker and alcohol blender solution, add some perfect pearls and stickles - easy peasy, the toughest part is to be patient when they are drying.

Magnolia stamp BUBBLING TILDA
Magnolia stamp STONE PATH
WOC open roses 25mm
WOC open roses 10mm
Flat back pearls
Copic markers
Grossgrain ribbon, green
Stickles, DIAMOND
Spellbinder nestabilities, DECORATIVE LABEL ONE
Paper is from Prima marketing, Divine - unfortunately no longer avaliable in the store
Challenges entered:
Midweek Magnolia - Frame it!
Tilda's town - April showers bring may flowers
Marvelous Magnolia - Anything goes
Lovely hÄnglar - Spring
Magnolia-licicus - Anything goes
Thanks for visiting!!

Magnolia LO for The Rubber Buggy
Hi everyone!
With mother's day coming up I wanted to make a LO of an old photo from just Mother's day.
I've used a mix of products from the store. The Magnolia paper is fabulous on it's own, but I stamped some Magnolia Love background and added some cracks with Kaierscraft clear stamp and the paper took a whole new dimension.
There is a lot of layering going on and lots of different shapes to look at. But the LO is still very plain and simple.
Products used from the store:
12x12 paper Magnolia ROSE PATH
12x12 cut-apart sheet, May from Place in time by Graphic 45
Divine paper pad 6x6, prima marketing
Kaisercraft clear stamp CRACKLE
Kaisercraft clear stamp DREAM BIG
Magnolia rubber stamp LOVE BACKGROUND
MFT die-namic LARGE LEAFY FLOURISH
Magnolia die SCALLOPED TAG (similar)

Giftcard and box for The Rubber Buggy
Hi everyone!
I hope you all have had a blessed Christmas and are still merry and bright through the Holiday.
For this week I have created a handmade gift card and a box to give it in.
It's a completely handmade card with the promise of a girls night out. I've used a 3x4 journaling card from Becky Higgins project life set, but styled it up a bit with products from The Rubber Buggy.
The box is and altered Chocolate box which I just hot glued stuff to - Super fun and easy :) I made a new background by stamping notes on a copy paper.
Products used from the store:
Magnolia rubber stamp A merry Christmas text
Magnolia rubber stamp silent night
Magnolia Shabby chic Chandelier garland white
WOC 10mm open roses, white (coloured with LSG)
WOC 15mm open roses, white ( coloured with LSG)
WOC 30mm leaves, green (coloured with acrylic paint & LSG)
Bakers twine, seafoam
Lace with pearl center 5/8
White lace with white satin center
Sheer box pleated trim, black
Stamping supplies (hot glue gun, memento ink, scor tape etc)
Thank you for visiting and happy new year!!!
