Lacey challenge at Anyone for Anya

Hi everyone!
Today we're highlighting lace in our creations at Anyone for Anya.

I have Anya from hats off sitting on a background of vintage script from Prima's script and ledger paper pad. My gorgeous lace is from MB's Treasurista, Ivory floral venise lace #2 far to the left I've covered the edge with some mesh bling in brown also from MBT. The cluster of flowers are from I am roses, colored with Lindy stamp gang sprays. I've also added a G45 stapels ornate  metal key from the Rubber Buggy.

Have a great day:)

Art journaling for The Rubber Buggy

Hi everyone!

I'm doing something unusual for my usual Tuesday post at The Rubber Buggy - art journaling!

I've seen so many beautiful samples of art journaling and I've been trying to make some of my own, but I've still got a lot to learn. I thought I'd show you a spread though. It was very easy to put this one together and I like it because I think I got a lot from using just a few products - distress ink and Graphic 45 french country stamp #3.

First I distressed the entire page using peeled paint, tumbled glass, tattered rose and victorian velvet. I then pencilled my sentiment and filled it with a copic marker (black100). Then I stamped all over the pages in different colours. I hope you can tell that the post card stamp is used randomly partial in black soot, the bumble bee in mustard seed and the flour de lie in blue. If you look closely you'll notice that I made a border at the bottom using the branches in pine needle green. I've also stamped the "sign" stamp in peeled paint and tattered rose, sometimes right on top of each other so it looks like a shadow.

Well, I think I will be pleased eventually with the page, it grows on me. But like I said I still have a lot to learn:)

Products used from the store:
Tim Holtz distress ink
Graphic 45 French country stamp set #3
Copic marker B100

Sketch challenge at Anyone for Anya

Hi everyone!

Anyone for Anya has a new fun sketch challenge for you all this week.
Here is my take with TGF Alice bean.

The paper is from Prima divine 6x6 paperpad. I've used the Spellbinders label 20 to die cut the background for my titel which is simple stories snap stickers. I then decorated the rest with enamel dots - love those babies, they will be my new addiction for sure - LOL!

The sweet eyelet lace with ribbon in celadon is from MB's Treasurista and it match the divine collection perfectly.

I hope you join, can't wait to see your creations!
Thanks for visiting:)
