How do you wrap a hug?
That was what I thought straight when I saw Krafty Kate from the Saturated canary:)
As usual, coloured with my copics - I don't know how I managed without them before:)
The banner is from MFT and I cut it apart to be able to bend it my way. I added some string from my stash and paper flowers as well.
I used a spellbinders to create the frame of my image and the label for the sentiment. I edged them with Tim holtz distress ink Antique linen.
Do check out The Rubber Buggy store! Kellie keeps stocking the goodies by the minute:) She also carries Spellbinders now - hurray!
The design team is also in search for new super talented members, so what are you waiting for? Check out the details HERE
Thanks for stopping by!

Call me
Here is my take on Saturated canary talkie!
She is adorable listening in her tin can phone - I haven't made one for ages:) I'm really pleased I colour it with my copics:) She is mounted on a background of Magnolia 6x6 pink paper from the princes & princesses collection. You can also find ribbon and paper flowers in the shop. I made the pink pearl spray myself and the crystal spray is Magnolia chandelier garland white.
Don't forget to participate in our challenge this month!
Show us some love and add a heart to your project:)
Hugs Pi!
P.S Don't we all do this, finish a card and then see what clearly should be improved:p
Well, for me it's the sentiment... It should, of course, say "too long since we've spoke"...

Unity (be inspired) challenge
I admit that I've been looking at Unity stamps for the longest time now... I've been having them on my wish list in what seems forever - but I still haven't managed to make a move...
I do have two itty bitty stamps... Dream big and on this journey together... Love them!
Which is why I don't understand what took me so long to order more...?
Unity stamps has just begun with a wonderful challenge - be inspired and I'd love to participate. Only problem is... Unity stamps must be in it! So I followed their advise if you lack some - go shop!
I caved in and finally placed an order:)
So now I'm waiting for happy mail, but as experienced... Snail mail to Sweden may be slower than slowest:( And I want to play now - LOL!
So I made the best with what I had...
I followed their sketch for a LO, if you are a follower of my blog you know I'm behind on a favour. So this was the perfect opportunity to catch up.
The paper line is Prima's En Francais Collection. I stamped the sentiment "dream.Big" from Unity all over the background like the sketch, the ink is adirondack dye ink espresso. I used the same stamp as my title, but stamped it on a tag from the paper line in Archival russet.
I stamped the butterflies from the same set on white cardstock and fussy cut to replace the hearts on the sketch. As the album is about the childhood of two boys, I'm trying to tone down on bling, flowers and hearts. Feel free to give me advise and tips of more boyish embellishment!
I did use another stamp set from MFT, I don't know if it's allowed to mix the stamps. But I liked the ballons and the saying with the dream big theme...
This LO was made in minutes and I'm so pleased with the effect of the stamped background. I would never have thought of that is it wasn't for Unity's challenge. So I already feel as a winner and will definitely be back for the next challenge as well to be inspired!
Thanks for visiting, let me know what you think:)

Take me away:)
With Valentine behind us and the snow still lying thick on the ground one can't help but to escape in dreams about warm vacations:)
Thus the inspiration for this card...
I'm thinking Aruba - LOL! Anyone who's been there?
I participated in TGF blog hop yesterday and got so inspired by all the colours. I started with colour when I first got into making cards. But then I tagged along with the vintage and now I'm stuck in a route. So now I'm trying to find my way back to happy colours again:) Imagine how well the new butterfly die would do on my card;)
Challenges entered:
TFG retro - hearts galore!
Anyone for Anya - hearts, hearts hearts!
TGF DTT - It's a little sketchy
TGF FFF - To die for (MFT fancy flourish)
Thanks for stopping by:)
Hugs Pi!

Heart challenge @therubberbuggy
Well folks!
Today is a new challenge coming up at the rubber buggy and we want to see hearts:)
With Valentine coming up I'm sure that's an easy one.
Last year Kellie introduced me to Magnolia and this year it seems to be Saturated Canary.
Krista is one talented gal and for Valentine she gave away a freebie - Hugs and kisses
She was perfect for this challenge and I had so much fun colouring her with my copics.
On the bottom of the card I have green grossgrain ribbon, I've layered some lace and some bling. I've also glued some flat backs to the lace.
The tickets are from Miss cutieput inspiration, I copic coloured them to match the image.
The paper flowers are coloured with Lindy's stamp gang sprays salt water taffy and a bit o'bubbly. I also added a MFT flourish.
Now it's your turn to play!
Challenges entered:
Saturated canary challenge - #36 Color inspiration
Paper crafting journey - LOVE challenge
Inky chicks challenge - Valentine or anniversary

My Valentine
For this week I actually had another card ready - I'm in to saturated canary at the moment. But I also remembered that I had just the perfect Magnolia stamps for Valentine. So I made another one:)
You can never have too much fun playing with these cuties!
Here is Dancing queen Tilda, Edwin wants a hug and Christmas Tilda with cat in a trio. I paper pieced their clothes to match and I used stickers from Makin' memories. The background is Magnolia Love background stamped in Victorian velvet distress ink.
On the top and the bottom of the card I layered pearl trim on organza ribbon. I added a cluster of paper flowers in the corner and I made the pearl sprays myself.
I hope you enjoyed my card, thank you for visiting!!
Challenges entered:
Midweek Magnolias - Valentine
Simply Magnolia - Bingo (Edwin, ribbon, pearls)
Totally Tilda Challenge - Valentine
Magnolia down under challenge - Love is all around us
Tilda's town - Anything goes
Inky chicks - Valentine card
Fab n funky challenge - Valentine/heart
Inky impressions challenge - love
Paper pretties Wednesday challenge - Valentine

Be my Valentine
Wow, time flies and it's time for another card for the Rubber Buggy:)
I made a little different card this week and have not used a stamp.
But it so easy to put beautiful things together with paper from Graphic 45. Here I made a 4.5 x 4.5 card for Valentine using the Place in Time cut-apart paper of Feburary. Apart from a flatback pearl, 4 paper flowers, some Recollection bling and 4 stickers from the Place in Time sticker sheet, all the embellishment is from the paper line.
The base of the card is Neenah Environment smooth desert storm - is this the same as kraft paper? I then matted cream card stock on top of black card stock - and then... Then the fun begins:)
I matted the cut picture from the paper with pearl shimmer paper, the rest is just cut-aparts from the paper - both the tag and the stamps. I glued a pink flat back pearl to the tag and coloured some I am roses rose buds and a R2-15 rose with Rudolph nose red from Lindy's stamp gang.
Again both the stamp and border is from the cut-apart sheet from Graphic 45. Some Recollection bling from a roll, but it would be just as fine without it!
Even the inside is from the collection. The striped paper, stamp, the tag and the border that's not shown is from the cut-apart sheet. From the sticker sheet is the "14", "be my Valentine" and the little heart after "BE MINE". Again, if you do not have the sticker sheet there are plenty more to choose from on the cut apart papper.
Is it not amazing what you can do with paper - LOL!
Challenges entered:
Simon says stamp - anything goes
I am roses Feb challenge - Love is Valentine, pink & red, hearts
Thanks for stopping by!!
Don't forget to play @therubberbuggychallenge - just use your top 3 favourites:)
And do check out the store!! Kellie has filled the store with both more paper flowers, ribbon and new stamps:)
Hugs!!
Have a great day!!
