Memory Box Love you card for The Rubber Buggy

Hi everyone!

I'm here with a card for The Rubber Buggy using die cuts from Memory Box.
I love Memory Box dies. They are so intricate, but still cuts like butter and they have so many to choose from.

The background is absolutely gorgeous, I both die cut it and embossed it to make the most of it. It really made the entire card - so easy!

Products used from the store:
Memory Box die STARRY NIGHT BACKGROUND
Memory Box open studio die ALL ABOUT LOVING
Memory Box open studio AMAZING YOU

Watercolor firsts for The Rubber Buggy

Hi everyone!

I'm here with my project as a member of The Rubber Buggy design team.
I used watercolors and it's a first for me :)
Yes, yes I know. But it's as usual with me, I'm always the last to join a trend - LOL!
Another first for me, was not to use any black ink for the lines and I'm loving the look!

I got the inspiration from the sentiment "get well soon" from the scripty sayings and thought a cup of tea would go well together.

I really liked playing with watercolors, even though I didn't have as much control as with my copics.
However, I'm sure that the spectrum aqua pens will combine the two.

Mini accordion album for The Rubber Buggy

Hi everyone!

I've been on the design team for The Rubber Buggy for a couple of years now and it's been a blast all the way!

However, that has also left me with a pile of scraps from all the card making - LOL!
So I thought I better dig into that and put them all together by doing a mini album. The trick I used was to have large photos, making all your scraps into embellishments, so I used a lot of dies :D
I also cut alot of banners and to tie it all togheter (haha) I used plain white twine. I stamped some of the dies. Those little faces from Lawn Fawn are just to cute.

Darling child layout

Hi everyone!

I'm here with another layout for The Rubber Buggy.

The journaling is acutally the lyric from a Swedish song by Jessica Nilsson, that I read as a poem on my son's Christening. It simply says how much we've longed for our child and how our lifes has a new meaning and purpose now.

I mixed products from my stash with great pieces from The Rubber Buggy store. The background is a textured cardstock from my stash, but if you are looking for more muted tones, please check out Pion Designs palette papers. They are sturdier than their pattern papers and I'm pretty sure that Pion blue IV is a good match to the colour I've used.

I'm very happy with my combination of different embellishments to add texture and depht to my page. The white lace is perfectly dainty and yet, simple enough to fit a boy layout. I tried a number of venice drop lace, but it just looked to girly for my taste. Underneath the green lace from my stash I layered a white grossgrain ribbon. I'm super excited to have found such a good use of a doily. Love them, but they rarely look good on my projects from some reason? But here I thought it was the perfect match :)
My favorite pieces however on this layout is the shabby staples from Graphic 45. They add just a little weight to the layout.

Products used from the store:
Graphic 45 staples shabby chic ornate metal key holes
Graphic 45 staples shabby chic ornate metal keys
White lace w satin center
White grossgrain ribbon w satin edge
Doilies 5,5inches
Stamping supplies (doublesided tape, score tape, scissors)
