Hi everyone!
If you're a follower of mine you'll recognise the inspiration for this card :)
I had a Christmas tree of presents envisioned, but it ended up just being a large pile. How ever I grow really fond of that pile and I thought I would be able to build a fun scene.
The Santa penguin is unloading the sweet reindeer and throwing the presents in a big pile.
The pile is made by a lot of masking and again, I thought it would be to busy if the pile would have to compete with the Bokeh background. So I kept it white and simple by just coloring the ribbon and then adding wink of Stella clear glitter to the entire pile. To top it of I also added a flatback pearl in coordinating color to every gift. The sentiment is also a new favorite of mine, where I combine two stamp set Toboggan together and Sweet Christmas.
Products from The Rubber Buggy store:

Lawn Fawn coordinating die set Toboggan together

Lawn Fawn 6x6 paper pad Let's Bokeh in the snow

Lawn Fawn winter scene for The Rubber Buggy
Hi everyone!
I'm here with a cute winter scene from Lawn Fawn.
I'm loving how easy this one came together and I had a blast making it. I wanted to use my stitched hillside border dies and make a snow scene, so I just cut several out from white cardstock. I also wanted to have my little penguins in a snowball fight so I colored a couple of them at once, some with santa hat and some without to have a selection to choose from.
Making those preparations really made the assembly line go speedy. As I started to lay out my scene I realised I was missing trees. I used the tree die from Toboggan together as well as sweet Christmas and cut it from bokeh paper. I then edged the sides with Lawn Fawn ink and let me tell you how happy I am with the new mini applicator :D
To top it all of I added another piece of Bokeh paper as the sky and viola!
I hope you like it!

Lawn Fawn Christmas gift tree for The Rubber Buggy
Hi everyone!
For this card I had a vision of Christmas tree shape, but after a lot of masking it ended up being just a big pile of presents. But I think I made it work anyway - LOL!
As my background is kind of bold, I didn't want to have the presents compete with such a busy pattern. So I left them white and only colored the ribbons. I also added a flat back pearl in a coordinating color. (Did you know, if you don't have the correct color, you can alter it with your copics) I also went over the entire pile with my clear wink of stella. Be careful though, the wink of stella marker may lift some of the color depending on what ink and pens you have used. However, just clean the tip on a scrap paper and you're good to go again. The glitter really made the pile pop against the background. I placed the pile on top of a stitched hillside border and the little penguin in santa hat covers the part that would make the entire hill look a bit loopsided. The sentiment from the Toboggan together stamp set would have been to long to fit and I wanted to keep the banner thin, so I used my Sweet Christmas stamp set and used the word "Christmas".
I hope you like it!

2015 December daily update 7
Hi everyone!
What a day!
I was trying to work some on my December daily and it's a good thing I started in August, let me tell you - LOL!
First as soon as I sat down, my baby woke up way to early from his nap and it took quite some effort to put him back to sleep. So right there our entire day went down the drain LOL!
My next attempt was brutally interupted by a long call from my sister, who is past her due date and bored out of her mind just waiting for the water to burst. But at the same time to scared to leave the house in case the water actually would burst - as you could imagine it would if you actually would be fine waiting a little bit more...
In the midst of everything I forgot to turn off the camera, so don't you think the battery died - which of course I didn't noticed.
So I appologize for the crappy video, but I thought I'd show it to you anyway and I hope to have a better update soon.
