Crafter Hoarders Anononymous guest designer

Hi everyone!

I have a special annoncement to make today:)

http://gloriadesignschallenge.blogspot.se/

I am one of the honoured and blessed ones to have been selected to be a guest designer for Craft Hoarders Anonymoius Challenge Blog!!! If you follow Gloria Stengels beautiful work you are already familiar with the blog. If not, you must have a look - Gloria has really put together the best and most inspiring team. The challenges are so fun and the prizes are amazing. One of the great things too is that there is no random winner, but Gloria and the team takes the time to choose which their favourites are.

So, if you haven't already figured it out. I'm up for the challenges of May and here is my first contribution. This challenge it's all about fibers! Time to really dig throught your stash of ribbons, laces and twines.

I made a paper bag. The paper is from the Engraver collection, A4-format. The paper itself is so beautiful that it doesn't need much decoration. The dressform diecut is stamped with text and some flourishes. I made a skirt of two layers of lace that I coloured and hid the seam with the bow of seam binding. This is the first time I've used real seam binding and let me tell you I'm hooked - LOL!

The handles of the bag is also seam binding and I glued some eyelash fibre to the top of it. I just added some twine to the spool and added a Tim Holtz trinket pin. The cluster of cherry blossoms are from I am roses.

I had a blast making this bag and I thought I really dug through my stash, but... it barely made a dent - LOL!

Thank you for visiting!
Can't wait to see your creations:)
