Pink Lemonade

I'm on a roll with challenges now, must be something in the summer air perhaps - LOL! But seriously, I don't know what's changed, maybe it is the deadline adding pressure to the creativity vein or maybe I'm ready to graduate after a semester of youtube inspiration. I'm telling you, whatever it is, it's because of all of you. So thanks to all of you for taking the time to share!

The Greeting farm's FFF challenge for this week is pink lemonade. I'm not very girly, but I recently bought LSG set nantucket pearls, which has a super light pink - salt water taffy. Earlier for my Easter card I got a glimmer mist from tattered angels in lemon zest which I thought would be sweet with pink. Since there was a hint of summer in the challenge, I already had the perfect stamp ready. I've been dying to use TGF's Rain Snow Shine cling stamp and what could add more summer to my card? Luckly, I had some scraps of a pink glitter card stock, I've had it so long I don't even remember where I got it from and I made my own paper by glimmer misting a piece of white card stock. To try something new I embossed it with TH regal flourish folder and rubbed it with some pink metallic rub ons from craf-T Products. This is something I bought years ago, but never knew how to use - until youtube! I made a banner with the MFT's fishtail banner with sprayed paper, but I could not come up with a good sentiment and as I already was in grabbing things that's been lying around for years, I also found some old stickers. Since there was only scraps left, there was not much to work with. There was no "S", so for example "sun" was not an option. But I think I sort it out pretty well - LOL!

The flowers are IAR S10 - 153 in soft yellow and R8-roses which are sprayed with LSG salt water taffy. I had some pink and yellow flowers from Panduro, these were the first flower embellishment I bought. I painted one of the yellow ones with the Lemon zest glimmer mist, but it darkened to much and I layered another one behind it. The little pink one remind me of prima I've seen on someones haul, but they're from Panduro.

All in all, let me know what you think!
Thanks for stopping by!
