Hi y'all:)
I've been dying to use my graphic 45 song bird paper and now I finally caved in and played some. I love this paper and I'm hoarding it like crazy - LOL!
The colours are absolutely amazing and I'm so fond of my Anya from Hats off, she looks so sophisticated in her travel suit. Here I coloured her in black and red to match the paper. The "black" is coloured with the darker shades of Cool gray for shadows and depth.
I recieved the coordinating stamps from Hampton art as a birthday gift, but I haven't had time to use them yet. I'm so pleased with the effect it had on regular red card stock in archival jet black, normallly I only use this card stock for Christmas cards.
Punches and dies used on this card are: Tonic studios corner punch for ticket corners, Spellbinder's labels 10, MFT's decorative doily duo - the smaller one.
For embellishment I made a spray of white glass beads and cherry blossoms from I am roses, which I shimmered up with biscotti perfect pearl mist. The black flourish is from recollection's bling on a roll.
I will have a hard time to part from this card, but for now I'm entering it in TGF-FFF - punch it!
Natalie and Amy's challenge - favorite things (G45 Bird song, TGF stamp, I am roses flowers)
Dies to die for - anything goes
Now I must go and buy more G45 paper to replace the ones I used - LOL!!!
Thanks for visiting!
Have a great day:)
